Advocacy Solutions helps you identify and explain your issues, while also ensuring that your story is crafted clearly and concisely. Through teaching and training, we help you mobilize your current contacts, go beyond your business circles to find new connections, and nurture new relationships using your social networks. And if you are worried you don’t have the right relationships already developed, we’ll help you change that.

In addition to one-on-one support provided to those who are willing to tell their stories to government decision-makers, local elected officials and the media, we facilitate broader engagement through our Be Heard™ e-Advocacy Platform that can stand alone or be connected to an existing website. Our online toolkit available through our Be Heard™ e-Advocacy Platform appeals to a range of advocates.

From experience, we know the importance of remaining nimble and agile because plans and processes can, and do, change. Advocacy Solutions works closely with our clients to ensure that any required shift in strategy is reflected in the tactical execution, and we provide ongoing evaluation of the campaign’s impact – measuring against desired outcomes.

Our 5-Step Process to Developing an Effective Advocacy Campaign

We have developed a 5-step advocacy process to evaluate your advocacy needs, and craft your campaign:

Identify your issues: What are the problems, concerns, or challenges that you face individually or as a group?

Test and frame your issues: What are the issues that matter most to you? What are the issues that matter most to the people you represent?

Develop your key messages: What are the salient points of your issue that you want to explain?

Determine your one ‘ask’: What is it that you need? (not what you want)

Choose your advocacy tools and targets: What are the means by which you will deliver your messages and to whom will you deliver them?
